Wear and tear from abrasion and corrosion has always been a fundamental problem in various industrial sectors, in particular our experience comes from the requirements of extrusion of ceramic, brick, refractory materials.
Since its foundation, Metalcrom has addressed the issue not only by applying traditional technology, but also by investing in the research and development of technological applications, both in terms of materials and equipment: for example, the creation of the first automatic coating system for helicoids made and patented in 1984 (brand FU.S.A.L.®).
We now work with robotic systems and the most modern and exclusive technologies (MIG PULSE, TIG, CMT, PLASMA PTA) therefore guaranteeing high quality.

Respecting this tradition and our distinguishing features we continue developing and manufacturing sector spirals made by forming plated sheets consisting of a common steel base and coating surface in chromium carbide, tungsten or other suitable material (FU. S. A. L. ® WEAR PLATE).
